Bath time can be fun, but you need to be very careful with your child around the water. Here are a few recommendations to ensure that bathroom experience is fun, safe, and worry-free.
Drowning hazard: children are more vulnerable of drowning by immersion in bathtubs.
Babies have drowned while using infant bathtubs and infant bathtubs accessories. Never leave young children alone, even for a moment, near any water.
Stay in arm’s reach of the child.
Never allow other children to substitute for adult supervision.
Kids can drown in as little as 1 inch of water. Use as little water as possible to bathe a child.
Before you start, gather all the hand on the child while the kids is in the water.
Never leave the child or toddler unattended, not even for an instant.
Empty the tub after bath time is over.
Never bathe a child until you have tested the water temperature.
Always check the temperature of the water before placing the child into the tub. Do not place the baby or child in the tub when the water is still running (the water temperature may change suddenly or the water may get too deep.)
Make sure the bathroom is comfortably warm, because little ones can get chilled quickly.
Water temperature should be around 75 °F.
Keep electric appliances (like hair dryers and curling irons) away from the tub.
Always make certain that tub is resting on a stable surface and is properly supported before placing the child inside.
This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play in it without adult supervision.
Drain and dry the tub completely before folding it. Never fold the tub while it is still humid or wet.
